Here is a second scipt for a three-lesson preparation pack.

Dreams are sometimes strange. Some people report seeing buildings made from water, other brick monuments and even stainless steel castles. It would be very hard to find such items in real world. That is why we need to use some computer graphic programmes to alter the reality a bit. We will learn mapping technique (covering items in graphic files with some textures). But before doing that you must create a collection of textures that appear in your dreams, are important for you, or even ones you see often. How to do that? It's very simple, just aim your digital camera at some brick wall, wooden fence, a pile of leaves etc and make a collection of textures. It's your task to collect at least 15 of them. Remember, try not to be too close and make your textures as many items as possible.

Some examples from the web:

How is your dream journal? Is it filled with detailed dreams descriptions? I do hope so. As some of my students have already found their dream signs (things, situations or other aspects tah very often appear in their dream).

As you remember, the aim of the project is to prepare oneirographs - graphics/photographs inspired by your dreams. In order to do that here is a script for the first of three workshops that will allow you to complete the task.

Mini studio:
One of the category of the dream signs are small items that are important for you or which you use on everyday basis. That is why we need photographs of such item. What's more, we need photographs that are easy to cut out the background and paste into an oneirographic collage. Student's task is to build a mini studio that will allow them to take photographs with as little shadow as possible.

In order to do that you must prepare a large sheet of paper, tape it to something to make it a background and a base for the object you want to photograph. Then, add some strong lamps around. In order to reduce shadows you must reflect the light. Use some more white sheets for that.

Here is an example of such a set-up prepared by Emilia, one of my student:
There is also a similar setup on Netron Jammer Blog:
Please, make at least 10 photographs of items important to you and/or which appear in your dreams
